After seeing so much shredded textile clothing, Starting to think denim holds up better. As some have pointed out, the lever tore the jacket not the slide. Still so much damage for a slow speed crash, rider had minor road rash on his chest and knee but was otherwise ok.

Size doesn't matter much to Chris Kramp. Big guy rides better than most half his size. He has no problem knee dragging or hanging with the fast guys on the Mulholland Hwy Snake in los Angeles.
His suite was custom made by a company called Comet.

Area was closed but I was able to hike in Thanksgiving Day and get video of the damage. The brush fire eliminated most vegetation and appears to have destroyed every home on the Snake. The homes above lookout are gone also. The road is mostly ok except for cracks in places and blackened surfaces. "No Stopping" and other signs that melted were quickly replaced. On a positive note, visibility is great.
